CCO 2014 Award for Outstanding Graduate in Trades
Norman Lansing, Pre-Apprenticeship Training Institute
Norman graduated from the Pre-Apprenticeship Training Institute’s (PAT) Combined Electrician and Network Cabling program earlier this year as the top student in his program with a 93% final mark. “Norman quickly proved himself to be the outstanding student academically and was able to work on his own or help out classmates,” wrote PAT Campus Director Emidio D’Alfonso. During his time as a student, the aspiring tradesman gave back to his school by attending evening open houses, where he gave demonstrations and keenly answered questions from visitors. Two weeks after graduating, Norman was offered a position at Daltech Electric in Mississauga and soon thereafter was given the opportunity to sign on as an apprentice. President of Daltech Electric, Dan Ieraci said “he has continuously demonstrated his passion for working in our trade and we feel that Norman will be a very productive employee for us for years to come.”
